Magnetic Stripes

There are two common types of magnetic stripes, Hi Coercivityor Lo-co Coercivity mag stripes, these are commonly referred to as HiCo or LoCo mag stripes. The hi and lo determines the measure of strength of a magnetic field. With magnetic stripes you are able to swipe the card with your point of sales machine and are able to keep track of information on the card.
